Tax Manager/Supervisor

Alario & Associates, Certified Public Accountants, PC is a full-service accounting firm that offers a wide range of services and is committed to providing high-quality professional services to individuals and the business community. Due to continuing expansion, we are seeking a full time experienced tax manager/supervisor to join our team of energetic and dedicated individuals.

Candidates for the position must possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while supervising junior staff and managing priorities to meet deadlines. Responsibilities include managing, reviewing and preparing tax returns, tax research, tax planning/advisory and tax compliance services for our business and individual clients. Preparation of trusts, estates and not-for-profit tax returns is a plus. Strong computer skills are required and experience in tax research, QuickBooks, CCH Axcess, CCH ProSystem fx Tax and Engagement preferred.

Tax Manager/Supervisor should be a CPA and must have at least 5-8 years of recent experience managing a tax department, as well as preparing and reviewing returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and estates. Experience in developing in-house training preferred as well.

Seasonal Tax Accountant

Alario & Associates, Certified Public Accountants, PC is a full-service accounting firm that offers a wide range of services and is committed to providing high-quality professional services to individuals and the business community.

Due to continuing expansion, we are seeking an experienced tax accountant to join our team of energetic and dedicated individuals for the upcoming 2020 tax season. Candidates for the position must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while managing priorities to meet deadlines. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is vital. Responsibilities include the preparation of simple to complex tax returns for individuals and small businesses.

Strong computer skills are required and experience in QuickBooks, CCH Axcess, CCH ProSystem fx Tax and Engagement preferred. Tax Accountant must have at least 2-4 years of recent experience in preparation of tax returns. Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred, but not required.

This is a seasonal position with flexible hours, Monday through Saturday. Compensation based upon experience and qualification. This position could become a permanent seasonal position.
